Some users have wondered whether SIH is safe because the extension asks for certain browser permissions when installed. We completely understand that concern. Browsers often display warnings that can look alarming at first glance.
Here’s the truth: Those permissions are required by Google for extensions that interact with web pages (like the Steam Market) and allow features such as price display, quick-sell buttons or trade enhancements.
SIH only uses the permissions necessary for these functions, nothing more. We do not collect personal data, access private messages or interfere with your Steam account in any way.
